'Mark claims the Bentley Cup'

Five Lakes played the Bentley Cup Saturday 21st August on the championship Lakes course, Played from the White tees this 18 hole Stableford competition produced some very competitive scores.

Club President Barry Boniface (18) came in with a very respectful 38 pts, third place, however, third place went to Michael Seely (10) with 40 pts, the second slot went to Phil Roblin (16) with 42 pts, however with 4 birdies and 8 pars Mark Harlow (10) claimed the Bentley cup accumulating 43 Stableford points he also won the Category 1 prize along wth Phil Roblin who scooped up the best score in Category 2.

Seven players won birdie balls for 2's on the par 3's, Colin Carscadden, Ian Cottee, Chris Hamblion and Mark Harlow on the 8th, Eoghan O'Connell and Phil Roblin on the 11th and Paul Beckwith on the long 16th.
