'Lee Stafford wins the Captains Cup'

Played on the Lakes course there was a large turnout for this fundraiser to raise funds for Five Lakes Captain Eric Howlett Charity.

Lee Stafford (17) accumulated 2 birdies and 9 pars on his way to scoring 43 Stableford points and winning the Captains Charity Cup, two players returned 42 points to dispute 2nd and 3rd place with John Robertson (12) scoring 22 points on his back 9 holes to take the honours from 3rd placed Mick Seely (10)

Three other players returned 41 points in this reasonably high scoring competition, Clive Weir (15), Tony Nunn (21) and Charlie Powell (5).

Twelve players won balls in the two's on the par 3s.
