Congratulations to the Curry Cup team

We welcomed Benton Hall GC for our first round of the Curry Cup.

The morning foursomes did not go to plan after an encouraging start, going in at lunchtime 1 1/2 to 4 1/2 despite the pairing of Blane Bannister and James Roblin winning 8 & 7.

Needing a fight back in the singles, the home team delivered. Blaine Bannister, James Roblin, John Regan, Darryl Bannister, Chris Blakebrough, Kevin Bradshaw, Alex Brown, Mark Conner, George Monk, and Riley Ward all won their singles matches. Neil Whitelaw's honourable halved match saw Darryl Bannister's team score 8 1/2 points to secure a 10 - 8 victory.
