'Clive Taylor wins the Chamois Trophy at Five Lakes'
Played Saturday 1st June on the Lakes course from the back tees.
With a very stiff northerly breeze another test for the golfers at Five Lakes, three players returned nett 74's to contend the prizes, Peter Mcbride (3), Colin Mullinger (14) and Paul Clements (16), third place went to Danny Hagen (16) with a nett 73 ocb, in second place was club vice captain Peter Millar (16) ocb, however, winner of the Chamois Trophy was Clive Taylor (12) also on countback with 43 on the back 9 holes, comprising of seven pars and one birdie.
The Scratch prize was won by Peter McBride with a gross 77. One player had a two on the 17th par 3 to win birdie balls.
