Two players returned nett 69's, Riley and Stephen Ward (8), Mick Gill and Dave Rogers (3), followed by George Woodhead and Stan Smith (1) with a nett 68 to be outside the main prizes. 3rd place went to Jack Mahon & Tom Vass (3) with a nett 67 losing out on count back to 2nd placed and long-time clubhouse leaders Ollie & Matt Fisher (4) on the same score. However, winners by a large margin were Ian McDowell and Martin Ure (9) with a magnificent nett 62 in really difficult conditions accumulating 6 birdies and 8 pars.
