'Father and Son win the Winter League'

Potters Resorts Five Lakes Golf Club played the 2nd round of this year's Winter League Sunday 20th November.

Two pairs returned 40 Stableford points in this format, Chris Blakebrough & Danny Owen (11) along with Andy Butters & Martin Thompson (25), third place went to Peter Millar & Steve Smith (15) with 41 points, and second place on count back was taken by Jack Mahon & Tom Vass (8) also with 41 points, however, winners of the second round were the father and son partnership of Phil and James Roblin (17) with 43 points.

Birdie Two's were won by Chris Hamblion & Matt Somerville on both the 2nd and 13th, Barry Boniface & Malcolm Pitt. Phil & James Roblin, Nigel Popper & Richard Hardy-King, and Mike Taylor & Frank Taylor also on the 13th, Jack Mahon & Tom Vass on the 17th.
