Chris and Lee win the Winter League Plate

Men's Winter League Plate- 2 - ball Texas Scramble

Played Saturday 5th November on the Lakes course from the back tees, in very wet conditions this competition once again showed off the skills of the participants.

Three pairs returned nett 69's, Graeme Sinfield & Doug Wood (10) to claim 4th place, Nigel Popper & Phil Robson (7), and Pete Millar & Steve Smith (7) losing out on count back.

Third place went to Dave Morris & Neil Whitelaw (6) with a nett 68 losing out on count back to 2nd placed George Woodhead and Stan Smith (1) on the same score, however, winners of the Plate were Chris Blakeborough & Lee Stafford (6) with an unbeatable nett 64 with 13 pars to birdies and an eagle on the 18th to claim victory.
